Great Assembly Room

The Great Assembly Room was a large room in the Jedi Order's Jedi Temple on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant, located in an area of the building not accessible to Jedi younglings. The space was used for events in which the majority of the Order's members congregated for special occasions. By the time of the Republic Era, the Great Assembly Room saw limited use. In 68 BBY, Jedi Padawan Qui-Gon Jinn visited the room for the first time while touring the Temple with his newly assigned Jedi Master, Dooku.
