Great Grass Plains

The Great Grass Plains, an area of green grass and rolling hills, were located south of the city of Theed on the planet Naboo. Lianorm Swamp was at one end of the Plains. Shaak Ridge was a hill on the Plains which overlooked a valley. In 32 BBY, the Gungan Grand Army fought against the Trade Federation in the Battle of the Great Grass Plains. The main part of the engagement took place on the Plains 40 kilometers from Theed. At the time of the battle, a redoubt was on the Great Grass Plains, along with ruins.
