Great tree

The great tree was a massive inhabited wroshyr trees that made up the Wookiee city of Kachirho, on the planet Kashyyyk. While the city encompassed other inhabited wroshyr trees, and buildings on the ground level, most of the settlement of Kachirho spiraled around the trunk of the 300-meter-tall great tree.

During the Battle of Kashyyyk of the Clone Wars, the tall tree allowed the Wookiees to defend the lagoon area from above.

Wookiees living in the great tree during the Galactic Civil War included Kymayrr, Chatook, Dr. Cheyerooto, Harwakokok and Ovarra. Several off-worlders, including Colonel Gurnst, Flash Harrison, Captain Koh, Fezrik Bendledon, Unluto, Belga Daeri and Mada Johnson, visited the tree after the Battle of Yavin.
