The Hakawa islands were a chain of islands on Dac, an ocean planet located in the galaxy's Outer Rim. The islands were situated just south of the Algae Sward sea and were formed by the peaks of the underwater Seascape Mountains. The ocean that surrounded the islands was home to the whaladon, a species of intelligent cetaceans. The Hakawa islands were also near the underwater city Aquarius.
