A government office on the Core Worlds astronomical object Halpat was destroyed by rioters sometime by 3638 BBY. As a result, a maze of ancient passageways underneath the government office was discovered.
That year, an individual affiliated with one of the two sides in the ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion of theirs to explore the labyrinth underneath where the government office had been.
