The Howling Strip was an area in the northeast of the Boulder Forest region on Toshara, a moon in the Outer Rim. By 3 ABY, a communication outpost for the Galactic Empire had been constructed in the strip along with two ground based turbolasers.
That year, a dispatcher with the Galactic Empire reported a sighting of the thief Kay Vess near the area after she was involved in a disturbance on Toshara.
