During the Iron Blockade, the Galactic Empire lockdown of the Anoat sector to prevent its occupants from learning of the death of Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine during the Empire's crushing defeat at the Battle of Endor, Duke Chanward of the Noble Court designed a bold plan to capture an Imperial communications station used by the Imperial faction in the sector and send a message to the public.

The individual known as the Smuggler, an ally of the Noble Court, provided one of their crew to Chanward to help make the duke's plan to capture the communications station a success.
