During the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire established a garrison on the planet Flankers in the Fakir sector. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, the garrison was abandoned due to the Flankers system's sun going nova.
An Imperial scout vessel, carrying an Alliance to Restore the Republic prisoner, General Lens Reekeene, arrived at the garrison after being damaged. Finding the base abandoned, the crew of the ship sent for rescue. Green squad, a unit of the Reekeene's Roughnecks, successfully infiltrated the base and rescued Reekeene before the sun exploded.
