The Imperial Guard Academy was a training facility located on the moon Yavin 4 that was used by the Imperial Guard, the protectors of the Sith Emperor of the Sith Empire. A secret installation like the rest of the Guard's training centers, the Academy also served as a garrison of Imperial Guardsmen, who protected the nearby Temple of Sacrifice for the Emperor. During the Galactic War, the Order of Revan sacked the Academy, damaging it and the surrounding grounds.
