Imperial Outpost 79 was a small Imperial facility on the slopes of Mount Selasa on the planet Akiva during 3 ABY. During that same year the outpost was manned by a variety of troops from the Empire's Stormtrooper Corps and had a K79-S80 Imperial Troop Transport assigned to it.
In 3 ABY, the scoundrel Kay Vess stole items from a container inside the outpost as well as a copy of the Imperial Security Bureau's report on her mother Riko Vess.
