Janta Stronghold

The Janta Stronghold was a fortified system of caves settled by the the Dantari of the Janta tribe on the planet Dantooine during the Galactic Civil War.

In 1 ABY, a band of Janta looking for food attacked an artisan near their cave and stole a couple of his sculptures. The same year, Imperial Lieutenant Velso dispatched a spacer to the Janta Stronghold in order to retrieve the ship destruct sequence codes of a Rebel Corellian Corvette. The Empire suspected that the codes were lost during the evacuation of the Dantooine Rebel base in which the ship participated. Later, a spacer visited the cave and collected a Blackscale "Hall Sweeper" carbine.
