The Jedi Temple training ground was a courtyard in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant used for Jedi training, including the teaching of younglings. It was the location of an ancient tree that was imbued with the powers of the Force. The tree was removed from the complex after the rise of the Galactic Empire, when the Emperor, Darth Sidious, converted the Jedi Temple into the Imperial Palace.
