In 30 BBY, the Kiffu Guardians maintained a security compound on the prison-world of Kiffex. It was attacked by rogue Anzati under the control of the Dark Jedi Volfe Karkko, and all within were killed. The mysterious death of the compound's Guardian personnel led Sheyf Tinté Vos to request aid from Jedi Knight Quinlan Vos in investigating the source of the attack.
