LMCTS-25452

LMCTS-25452, or Lant Mining Corporation Testing Station 25452, was a mining survey site built by the Lant Mining Corporation during the Galactic Civil War.

Located in the Brak sector on a small airless moon, the station was used to search for valuable materials, but produced little returns for the corporation. Despite this, Lant Mining Corporation kept LMCTS-25452 in operation for years, earning it the nickname "Futility Station" from its staff. After upper management learned of the name, the staff was fired for insubordination and the facility was abandoned.

The station remained empty until a former employee joined the Rebel Alliance and informed them of the station. Agents located the facility and re-activated it. They stocked it with minimal supplies and it was primarily used as a safehouse for the sector's groups of SpecForce and Alliance Special Operations personnel.
