Northern territory

The northern territory was located on the planet Ipsidon. It was home to herds of Ipsidon bucks, and was covered in rocky mountains and deserts, that hid caverns and subterranean lakes. In the Galactic Republic's reign, a spaceport was constructed as a thriving hub for the ipsium mining industry, a volatile yet valuable mineral, but the spaceport was left abandoned.

Individuals ipsium mines were also in the area, one of which was purchased by information broker Ciddarin Scaleback. Hoping to acquire ipsium, at some point, the clone commando mercenaries of Clone Force 99 were sent to Ipsidon. They ultimately failed and temporarily lost their shuttle the Marauder to the young thief Benni Baro from the refinery Mokkotown located outside the northern territory, until they retrieved it and escaped Ipsidon.
