The Personal Defense Emporium was a commodities establishment on the planet Coruscant that sold food, water, generators, and weapons. Not long into the Galactic Empire's reign, in 19 BBY, the store held an interplanetary raffle as a promotion for their customers, with prizes of tickets to the planet Quermia, the world Alsakan, and the astronomical object Lianna. During the protests on Coruscant during Separatist Reintegration Day—which marked the return of formerly Separatist worlds into the Imperial Senate—an announcer encouraged passersby to stock up on essential goods at the Personal Defense Emporium. As Senator Mon Mothma walked through Coruscant's lower levels, she heard the announcement via loudspeaker.
