The Rebel Alliance established a small outpost on the moon Yavin 4 sometime after the Battle of Yavin, during the Galactic Civil War. The outpost was erected in a remote location in the deep jungle. It consisted of two small dome-shaped buildings and was guarded by Alliance soldiers. In 1 ABY, Princess Leia Organa stayed at this outpost for a short time during the Project Dead Eye incident.
