A spaceport was built by the Galactic Republic on the planet Tatooine in the city of Mos Osnoe during the Clone Wars against the Confederacy of Independent Systems. The spaceport was built by the Republic to help pay for the conflict by profiting from trade in the Outer Rim Territories. Boorka, a Hutt crime lord on Tatooine, was displeased by the spaceport's presence, and requested General Sev'rance Tann to destroy it in exchange for information he possessed, resulting in the spaceport destruction.
