S2

S2 was one of twelve equally-sized zones on the southern hemisphere of the Death Star, a massive battle station built by the Galactic Empire. Like the other twenty-three hemispheres on the space station, the zone covered 31.4 kilometers of the Death Star's circumference, was commanded from a bridge, and contained a number of sectors with designated purposes. The Death Star, including zone S2, was destroyed in 0 BBY. Zone S2 bordered zones S1 and S3.
