Squinquargesimus was a village on the planet of Quelii. It was the birthplace of the Old Republic Jedi Knight Alek, who fought in the Mandalorian Wars, and later became a Dark Lord of the Sith by the name of Darth Malak—one of the instigators of the Jedi Civil War. In his youth he was nicknamed "Squint", a reference to both his birthplace and his steely gaze.
