The Strange Pillar was a pillar-like rock formation in the Pillar Forest area of the North Jundland Wastes region of the Outer Rim, desert planet Tatooine. Sometime before 3 ABY a Low Altitude Assault Transport/carrier crashed into one of the Strange Pillar.
In 3 ABY, the Merqaal Nix guided his companion Kay Vess up a pillar to the crashed Low Altitude Assault Transport where he found a missile button.
