The Needles

The Needles was an area in the Jundland Wastes region of the desert planet Tatooine. The nomadic Tusken Raiders native to Tatooine would concentrate into semi-permanent camps in the Needles during the planet's stormy season and the hottest times of year, waiting there until a change in the weather would allow them to resume their travels. Due to the Tuskens' generally hostile nature, the Needles was avoided by outsiders, who considered it frightening.
