The Wound

The Wound was a deep chasm located in the middle of the Jundland Wastes of Tatooine. The bottom of the site was impossible to see from the upper ridge, while the rim of the location was filled with camps of Sand People. The Sand People seemed to have shown a reverance towards the Wound and were occasionally seen casting their dead into its depths.

Its origins were largely unknown as most considered it to be a natural formation. However, certain fringe geologists instead speculated that it was created by a violent orbital bombardment during ancient times. However, they lacked any evidence to support their theory and many wondered why anyone would decide to bombard a remote desolate world such as Tatooine.
