The theoretical applications testing facility was an Imperial facility on Eadu. Between 12 BBY and 11 BBY, Qeris Lar informed the Stinger Mantis crew that the schematics of the Shroud, a cloaking device, were supposed to be brought to the facility so they could build a prototype of the device.
