The throne room of the Naboo monarchs was located in the heart of the Royal Palace of Theed. On the request of Royal Naboo Security Forces Captain Quarsh Panaka, the handmaiden Eirtaé installed a compartment within the throne, only accessible by the queen that concealed two small blaster pistols, allowing the newly appointed Queen Padmé Amidala to be prepared for the worst when hosting foreign dignitaries.
