The Troithe Planetary Defense Center, or TPDC, was a militarized area on the planet Troithe. By the Clone Wars, which began in 22 BBY, its barracks and weaponry was abandoned and the defense of Troithe was undertaken by private military companies. Following the rise of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, the TPDC became Troithe's capital, with the first Imperial governor replacing the obsolete weaponry with bureaucratic centers, broadcast facilities, apartments, and tram networks.
