The Tusken March was an area of the Western Dune Sea on Tatooine, a desert planet in the Outer Rim. By 3 ABY, the Miyuki Trade League had established a vault in the area.
That year, the thief Kay Vess was involved in an incident on Tatooine that caused her to be wanted by the Galactic Empire. Shortly afterwards she was spotted in the Tusken March area and an Imperial dispatcher report the sighting to the Imperial forces searching for Vess.
