An academy was located on the Chiss Ascendancy planet of Rentor. The academy had multiple classes that focused on the student's aptitude and logic. The students recited morning vows every day and had a line leader. Kivu'raw'nuru ("Vurawn") was a student and a line leader at the academy before his name change to Mitth'raw'nuruodo, core name "Thrawn", and his departure to the Taharim Academy on Naporar.
