Legends. This article is part of Legends: the expanded-universe stories that Lucasfilm set apart from canon in 2014.
An Ewok village existed around 19 BBY, located on the forest moon of Endor. The village was lead by a chieftain and consisted of various other Ewoks. At some point the village came to be terrorized by a beast known as the Beast in the Mouth of the Mountain. Eventually the creature was killed by the Twi'lek Jedi Aayla Secura. The fight and it's participants, including a limbless B1 battle droid, were all later immortalized in a painting created by the chieftain.
