A village was located in a marsh on the planet Naboo. In 32 BBY, during the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation, the Human Naboo student Teckla Minnau escaped the besieged capital city Theed. After evading Trade Federation bombers and patrols by Single Trooper Aerial Platforms for days, Minnau found shelter in the village and remained there safely until the end of the invasion.
