A pet store was located in the pirate market in Port Borgo during the New Republic Era. Around 9 ABY, the child KB look at a fuzzball caged in the shop as well as a case containing aquatic creatures that looked like a cross between a jellyfish and a squid. The Theelin Melna then pulled KB and her friend Fern into the store's kiosk, crouching down behind the counter and warning the children they were not safe in Port Borgo as it was full of pirates.
