A Tarnab colony was located on the Outer Rim desert planet Sriluur by the time of the Republic Era. The Tarnab artist Tantagru Motts-Danel hailed from the colony. Shortly after the Hosnian Cataclysm of 34 ABY, the book A History of Persuasive Art in the Galaxy—a work looking at the usage of propaganda by various factions—was released and mentioned the colony while detailing information about Motts-Danel's life.
