University of Byblos

The University of Byblos was a university on Byblos, an astronomical object in the Colonies region. A young geology student from the university once visited the Lodge in Fort Ypso on the planet Vandor. After looking at the other patrons, he asked the bartender Tivoche Bilure if he was afraid that criminals would one day take over the Lodge, but Bilure stated it was unlikely as the criminals would not want to run it.

Several years later, Bilure wrote about the incident in a book detailing his time at the Lodge. He recalled that the other patrons at the Lodge that night had not actually been that rough a crowd, but assumed that somewhere like the University of Byblos, which he considered a fancy institution, likely had not prepared the student for such a locale.
