Upper Strangled Cliffs

The Upper Strangled Cliffs was the uppermost section of a group of cliffs on the planet Dathomir, directly above the Strangled Cliffs. The hydraatis plant grew in the area. Years before the destruction of the Nightsisters in 20 BBY, the Nightsister clan of witches visited a small area where they practiced their magicks. In 20 BBY, after the Battle of Dathomir, the surviving Nightsister Merrin visited the Upper Strangled Cliffs where she mourned the loss of her sisters. After the destruction of their prior village during the Second Battle of Dathomir in 19 BBY, the surviving Nightbrothers built a village within the Upper Strangled Cliffs. In 14 BBY, when Jedi Padawan Cal Kestis briefly passed through the cliffs to get to the Brother's Bastion on a journey to reach the Tomb of Kujet.
