Vis district

The Vis district was an area on the planet Naboo that contained skybridges. It shared its name with the Naboo city Vis and Lake Vis. During the Invasion of Naboo by the Trade Federation in 32 BBY, the Sith apprentice Darth Maul was sent to aid the invaders.

He speculated that the escaped Queen Amidala of Naboo would make her return to Theed Royal Palace by leading her Jedi escort and infiltration teams on a path through the eastern fork of the Solleu River and the skybridges of the Vis district. Maul knew that a lightsaber duel with the Jedi along that route would be uncontrollable and that he would have to try to fight them before they left the Theed Hangar.
