Aurimaus was an astronomical object located in Wild Space's Aurimaus system. At some point during the Galactic Civil War, the Galactic Empire's Tempest Force unit, which included stormtrooper Hume Tarl, participated in a military operation at Aurimaus.
Later, when the journalist Cindel Towani interviewed Tarl about the Battle of Endor of 4 ABY, the latter mentioned the operation at Aurimaus among other engagements the Tempest Force had been involved in. The interview was eventually included in Towani's 41 ABY work Portraits of the Galactic Civil War.
