Brackna was a terrestrial astronomical object located in the Brackna system within the Doldur sector of the Mid Rim Territories. It was situated in grid square P-15 of the Standard Galactic Grid.
During the High Republic Era, soup contests took place on Brackna. Around 160 BBY, after the Mirialan Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh returned to the Jedi Temple on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant, she recounted her travels as a Jedi Wayseeker within the past decade to other members of the Jedi Order. As Rwoh did so, the human Jedi Knight Indara mentally noted that she spoke in a way that she could make judging a soup contest on Brackna sound interesting.
