Camden

Camden was a terrestrial planet located in the Camden system, a part of the Morshdine sector in the New Territories portion of the Outer Rim Territories. A hyperlane connected it to the Edusa and Vandyne systems.

A trade world, Camden saw intense traffic of small freighters. Its main spaceport, which served as an important fringe society crossroads point, was commonly known as "Snakes' Den." Adjacent to the spaceport was a restaurant and bar named the Jade Simian.

At some point by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the alien known as Eyes became an information broker who maintained a large network of informants. Eyes, who was initially based out of "Snakes' Den," eventually began holding organized meetings at the Jade Simian with people interested in trading information with them. Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, Rebel Alliance General Airen Cracken noted Eyes' operations on Camden in an entry dedicated to them that was part of a datafile detailing various Rebel operatives.
