Caramm V

Caramm V was the beautiful fifth planet of the Talcene sector's Caramm system, part of the Slice portion of the Mid Rim.

A terrestial world, Caramm V was neutral during the Galactic War between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire. Around 3638 BBY, several prominent politicians on Caramm V were discovered by an individual affiliated with one of the sides in the ongoing struggle between the Republic and Sith Empire to be funding pirate activities in the sector. The slicers who discovered the data proceeded to blackmail those politicians into ending Caramm V's neutrality.

During the Clone Wars, a conflict fought between the Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems over three thousand years later, the dictator Ado Eemon subjugated the planet with a fleet of droid gunships, killing all threats to his rule and ravaging the world in the process. He allowed the Confederacy to utilize Caramm V's enormous manufacturing facilities during the war and supplied them with the droid gunships.
