Carpastor Comet Swarm

The Carpastor Comet Swarm was an astronomical phenomenon located in the Carpastor system of the Rolion sector, a part of the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. It was situated along the Salin Corridor hyperspace route.

By 22 BBY, the company Salin Excursions was offering luxury cruises along the Salin Corridor aboard the liner Salin Mariner that witnessed the Carpastor Comet Swarm. At one point, Hondo Ohnaka, the leader of a pirate gang that planned to kidnap first-class passengers off the Salin Mariner in order to hold them for ransom, mentioned the Carpastor Comet Swarm as part of a tongue-in-cheek characterization of the cruise while presenting the gang's target during a briefing beforehand.
