Chandel

Chandel was a planet in the Outer Rim Territories, specifically at Standard Galactic Grid square N-6. It lay within the Chandel system of the Ojoster sector, which was also a part of the New Territories. Chandel had water covering its surface and appeared blue from space. Bev Kranti clams, which produced valuable pearls, could be found buried in the seabed beneath Chandel's ocean.

In 3 BBY, a Taylander shuttle heading for Chandel was stopped by an Imperial-class Star Destroyer and boarded by the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother, two Imperial Jedi hunting Inquisitors. The pair captured the Force-sensitive youngling Alora, taking the child from her grandmother, Darja, before the two could reach the world. Shortly after the attack, the former Jedi Ahsoka Tano followed decoded coordinates to Chandel after intercepting Imperial transmissions from the planet Mustafar. Above Chandel, she discovered the derelict shuttle and spoke with Darja about the incident before vowing to recover the child.
