Cheelit
Canon Legends version → Linked from 5 articles
Cheelit was an astronomical object in the Cheelit system of the Mid Rim Territories' Semagi sector in grid square I-16 of the Standard Galactic Grid. It was the homeworld of brain crawlers, a type of parasitic worm that could infest happabores, domesticated creatures found on worlds throughout the Western Reaches. Cheelit shared its name with the Thulgars of Cheelit, a group that existed by 19 BBY and killed those who betrayed them.
The instructions for the slurry formulation of Galacti-Stok's Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer mentioned Cheelit alongside the worms while advising against the use of the dewormer on the parasites. By 34 ABY, the scavenger Rey had acquired a copy of the instructions and included it in a survival guide that she compiled.
