Ciratu was a star located in the star system of the same name, a part of the Immerian Outback sector in the Expansion Region and Trailing Sectors, far from the region's trade routes. It was orbited by six spheres made up of rock and iron which were known as the Ciratu Spheres. The spheres were filled with tunnels, and were believed to have been created by an ancient species known as the Celestials.
