Darlon was a celestial body located in the Darlon system of the Mid Rim's Eucer sector. Senator Jonas Wallen, who represented a sector in the Galactic Republic's Senate, hailed from Darlon.
For a year leading up to the date 13:4:11, Wallen and their fellow Senator Char Bibbeck from the Outer Rim Territories astronomical object Colunda Prime engaged in betting on the likelihood of specific planets to either secede from the Republic or remain a part of that government. The gambling was eventually revealed to the public, and on 13:4:11 it was reported in an issue of the CoCo District Edition of the HoloNet News.
