Diyu was a planet that was located within the Diyu system of the galaxy's Hutt Space region and lay on the hyperlane called the Shag Pabol, which connected it to the Rorak system and the world of Ylesia.
The Anjiliac kajidic, a clan of the Hutt species, had influence on the planet. Diyu was a major industrial center that relied on slave labor for centuries. When the military forces of the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species invaded Hutt Space, Diyu escaped their advance.
