Dorajan was a planet in the Mid Rim within Lannik Space, densely covered in jungle. Around 3–4 ABY, the ship of the smuggler Platt Okeefe was shot down by TIE fighters from an Imperial orbital outpost as she attempted to flee with an unlicensed shipment of heavy blasters of Imperial manufacture. Okeefe was forced to land her ship in the jungle of Dorajan and hurriedly begin repairs, fearing that her location could soon be detected by a Star Destroyer in orbit, which might then dispatch a heavily-armed someone to collect her.
