Duunir

Duunir was a celestial body located in the Duunir system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Kibilini sector. At some point by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the interstellar smuggler and pirate organization Black Bha'lir had established a facility on Duunir that was the largest of several isolated refuges for the creature also known as the Black Bha'lir. The latter, a forest predator from the world of Iyred, had been adopted as a mascot of the criminal group, and consequently the Black Bha'lir founded the Duunir refuge as a charity. At that and other, similar facilities, small numbers of Black Bha'lir were raised despite the creature being officially listed as extinct in the wake of environmental degradation on Iyred.
