Elamposnia was a monastery world located in the Elamposnia system. It was situated in the Back Reach area of the Gordian Reach sector, within the Trans-Hydian portion of the Outer Rim Territories. A hyperlane linked it to the Chenowei system.
Elamposnia was reserved for the elect of the Church of the Light, known as Elamposnian monks, who took vows of chastity and poverty. In addition, communities that adhered to the religion occasionally sent their members who had fallen into darkness to Elamposnia for penance.
