Feris was a celestial body located in the Feris system, a part of the Agarix sector in the Western Reaches portion of the Mid Rim. It featured polar ice caps and was home to a civilization millennia prior to 3637 BBY. By approximately that year, the melting of the ice caps had revealed preserved remnants of the civilization.
Around that time, the future commander of the Eternal Alliance sent a companion to investigate the ruins in order to find any valuable relics.
By the time of the Galactic Civil War, Feris was the site of the settlement known as Feris City.
