Garcornia was a celestial body located in the Garcornia system, a part of the Mid Rim's Ado sector. It was the origin point of Garcornian spice. By 3638 BBY, multiple manufacturing plants were situated on Garcornia. That year, mass riots took place on the celestial body, leaving dozens of the factories in a state of disarray.
During the chaos, an individual affiliated with one of the sides in the then-ongoing struggle between the Galactic Republic and the reconstituted Sith Empire sent a companion to acquire any valuable assets from the facilities.
